We at Capodarco Formazione are an organization spread across the territory in several locations between Rome and Grottaferrata. With this article we begin to present our different offices in their specific characteristics and functions, to make them known and correctly inform our readers. Let's start with the headquarters in Via Demetriade.
The headquarters in Via Demetriade is an IeFP: let's see what it means
IeFP stands for Vocational Education and Training. The IeFP system came into operation in 2011 with the overall reform of the second cycle of education and training. In practice, the functioning of what came after what we commonly know as "middle schools" has been revised, even if they are no longer called that.
IeFPs are structures accredited by the Regions. In our case, we are obviously regulated by the Lazio Region. The courses are therefore dedicated to young people of school age, who have yet to complete their studies, who have just graduated from middle school (pass the term) or who have graduated from other courses linked to the second cycle of education: for example, a boy who in the first year of high school wants to change address, he can also decide to enroll in an IeFP.
All children between 14 and 18 years old with a middle school diploma (which today is called the final diploma of the first cycle of education) can enroll in IeFP courses and therefore obtain different types of qualifications.
What do you study in an IeFP centre?
In an IeFP center you obviously study basic subjects, common to all high schools, such as Italian, history, mathematics and others, those that form our general culture. In addition, there are specific courses that teach professional skills.
These professional skills are different and change depending on the address of the center.
Now, it is good to know that the addresses of the IeFP system are many, ranging from agriculture to mechanics, through graphics, construction and information technology. You can find the complete list by clicking here.
We at the Demetriade office organize courses to become Operator of Well being.
The IeFP Demetriade courses
Before seeing what they are, you need to know that each path is divided into:
- An initial three-year period: at the end of the three-year period, theCertificate of competency, recognized by law throughout Europe, which allows you to enter the world of work as a professional operator
- An additional fourth year: after successfully completing the three-year period, it is possible to access the fourth year which will allow you to obtain the Professional diploma. This diploma, valid throughout Europe, enables you to practice your own professional activity: in other words, you will be able to open your own shop!
The IeFP Demetriade courses allow you to become Wellness Operator and develop along two different paths (or addresses).
