Welcome to our office!
The headquarters in Via Michele Saponaro, 20 deals with PFI - individualized training courses - aimed at young people with disabilities aged 18 and over. It is located in an independent building surrounded by greenery, in front of an important park in the Eur/Laurentina area.
The teaching of the headquarters makes great use of the outdoor space and puts the individual's personal growth at the center which, as in all Capodarco Formazione's PFIs, are characterized by training internships in a working environment. The activities inside and outside the structure are planned with attention and continuity by the teaching staff, in an organic and organized path that identifies the specificities of the individual students and supports the strengths of the personality and aspirations of each one.
CFP Saponaro
A unique architecture surrounded by greenery
The CFP Saponaro headquarters is immersed in a very large garden which gives the opportunity to integrate the student's growth path with outdoor activities of a recreational and educational nature. These are organized in an experiential path of great effectiveness in the training of the individual, alternating with classic classroom training to enrich it with experiences that would otherwise be impossible in other contexts.
The building, characterized by an original architecture, is able to accommodate students thanks to large classrooms and bright windows.
The student's protagonism at the centre
The main attention is paid to welcoming and continuous listening, placing the student's protagonism at the center in his journey of personal change, aimed at social and work inclusion. In addition to the teaching modules required by law, the teaching staff undertakes on a daily basis to:
- Addressing the emotional and affective components in the class group.
- Provide tools for greater awareness of personal resources and limits.
- Encourage and broaden individual interests and peculiarities.
- Develop a sense of belonging to the group.
Social, emotional and professional focus
The training process aims to combine new content with students' pre-existing skills, facilitating the connection between new knowledge, personal experiences and interpersonal relationships. This approach, defined as a social-affective-professional matching, promotes the personal interests of each student, increasing their self-esteem through laboratory experiences and internships, and promoting personal autonomy.
The teaching staff and tutors work to activate expectations regarding the future, reviving personal resources also through general learning. The main task is to channel students' energies to develop useful skills to overcome daily obstacles, thus improving self-esteem and personal well-being.
Training courses for disabled young people
What are PFIs?
PFIs are courses designed specifically for disabled young people. In our case we welcome students between 18 and 29 years old and guide them on a personal journey, characterized by a real training internship in a working environment.
Individualized training courses
Training courses for children with disabilities
Training courses for disabled young people are also known as PFI, i.e. Individualized Training Paths.
Young people with disabilities often encounter difficulties in finding work. This happens both in the world of work and in personal education and training. Precisely for these reasons, the professional system of the Lazio Region has established the PFI, an acronym which stands for Individualized Training Paths.
These courses are customized to the needs of the individual student, are free as they are completely financed by the Lazio Region and always include a work placement.
How do PFIs work?
The courses for young people with disabilities are divided into three phases.
- Introductory interview: first it is necessary to discuss to best evaluate the candidate's possibilities and compatibility with the course activities
- Common route: the candidate included in the courses begins a path common to all students which covers basic skills and notions
- Individual path and internship: the young student is guided towards the most suitable path, also participating in a training internship that is very important for his growth
